These two opportunities are more than a race
it is an opportunity to engage with community in our Vendor Village and foster a healthier lifestyle in the communities in which we live and work. We believe the most important thing we can teach/encourage our community to do, is to get healthy. 100% of the proceeds will go to our Community Health Program 2022 Initiative to train as many business owners/community members in critical lifesaving CPR/Stop the Bleed Program at no cost.
Why Sponsor:
H.I.S. Centre aims to raise $70,000 which pours 100% of the proceeds back into programs directly serving the community. No matter how rapid the arrival of professional emergency responders, bystanders will always be first on the scene. A person who is bleeding can die from blood loss within five minutes, therefore it is important to quickly stop the blood loss. It is our goal to bring awareness and education to each community member on bystander CPR and bleeding control with our effective hands-on community curriculum.
